FOLKLORE ENSEMBLE ''LAZARICA''

Krusevac, Republic of Serbia

Welcome to our website!

ABOUT US
We are an amateur group of enthusiast, guardian of Serbian folk tradition from the town of Krusevac in the Republic of Serbia which includes about 200 members each year who belong to four different sections, depending on individual preferences and interests: folk dance ensemble, ethno singing group, solo singers and the folk music orchestra.

OUR MISSION
Our mission  is to preserve, enliven and present Serbian customs through traditional Serbian folk dance, music and costumes, so as to foster the continuation of Serbian cultural tradition and heritage.

OUR VISION
Folklore Ensemble ‘’Lazarica’’ promotes the ethnocultural diversity of Serbia through entertainment and public art performances. We want to meet the expectations both of the Ensemble’s members and the audience by paying respect to artistic value of copious folklore heritage of Serbia. Learning from the most prominent role models, we want to gain experience, make friends, earn respect in Serbia and represent our country at folk festivals abroad in the best way possible. We appreciate the contribution of all members of The Ensemble, friends and colleagues who have helped us to achieve our aspirations. What is more, we create the setting that inspires joy, creativity and the feeling of belonging. Respect for all people, their differences, integrity and culture are the values that are our guidelines.
